These terms govern your use of CareJobs — the platform that connects caregiving agencies with caregivers — including our text-message program. Please read them carefully.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CareJobs ("CareJobs", "we", "us"). By creating an account, opting into our text messages, or otherwise using the CareJobs website, mobile or web app, or text-message program (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
CareJobs is a platform that helps home-care and caregiving agencies post open positions and helps caregivers discover and apply to those positions. CareJobs provides the technology that connects the two sides.
CareJobs is not an employer, staffing agency, or party to any employment relationship between an agency and a caregiver, and does not guarantee employment, candidates, wages, or the accuracy of any posting or profile. Hiring, screening, background checks, wages, scheduling, supervision, and compliance with employment and labor laws are the responsibility of the agencies and caregivers involved.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and current.
To use most features you create an account and verify a mobile phone number. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to the terms of our text-message program described below. These terms supplement the SMS section of our Privacy Policy.
When you provide your mobile number and opt in — by entering your number and completing the verification or sign-up step — you consent to receive text messages from CareJobs, including one-time verification codes and, where you opt in, job alerts and account or application notifications. Consent to marketing or promotional texts is not a condition of using the rest of the Service.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Supported carriers may change without notice.
You keep ownership of the information you submit, such as your profile, résumé, and certifications ("Your Content"). You grant CareJobs a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, translate, and share Your Content as needed to operate the Service — including showing it to the agencies you apply to or make your profile available to. You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content and for having the right to share it.
Agencies are solely responsible for their job postings and for their hiring practices, and represent that each posting is accurate, lawful, and compliant with applicable equal-opportunity, wage, and labor laws. Postings must describe genuine open positions. CareJobs may edit, refuse, or remove any posting or content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

The Service, including its software, design, and the CareJobs name and logo, is owned by CareJobs and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
The Service integrates third-party providers (for example, Google sign-in, and messaging, hosting, and translation vendors). Your use of a third-party service is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. CareJobs does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any job, applicant, or hire will result. CareJobs does not screen users and is not responsible for the conduct, postings, or information of any user; you are responsible for independently verifying agencies, caregivers, credentials, and job details.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareJobs and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, employment, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CareJobs from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, your interactions or dealings with other users, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, and indemnification terms) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in the State of Georgia, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
